I got a new pair of the Ash icon slim’s, and they’re the nicest specs yet! Not having to worry about the sun, debris, and my prescription all in one is a real treat.
Couldn’t recommend these enough, and I believe that Peter is the most honest business owner around. Despite manufacturing issues out of his control, he remained focused on the customer and I couldn’t be happier.

I like them but there are a few points that need to be improved.
1. The arms are really tight behind the ears. I have a pretty small face so they fit perfectly, but they hurt after a couple of hours because of the right arms. The arms can’t be reshaped like normal eyeglasses even after 60s in boiling water. I may be doing it wrong , but you should be apres to reshape them a bit. If you know how to reshape them, I would like to know.
2. Lenses tend to want to pop out on the bottom of the frame. I had to press them back one time each and I didn’t do anything special with the glasses.
3. Quality control on shield should be improved. Mine was shipped with bent arms on the smaller shield and made it close to impossible to insert and wouldn’t snap in place. It also made it really hard to put in the screw and remove it afterwards.
Hi Marc, Thanks for the honest review, and we're glad the Icon Slims fit your face well. We would like to address each point here:
1. Tight arms. We make our frames snug on purpose so they stay put when you're working and moving. You can reshape the arms, but boiling water is hotter than you need. Run warm/hot tap water over the arms for 30 seconds. While they're warm, bend each arm outward at the thinnest point just above your ear. And don't worry you can bend them generously without breaking them. Try them on between bends, and once they feel right, let them cool in that position for a minute or two.
2. Lenses popping out. The lenses should sit snug in the frame. If they pop out, they weren't installed correctly. Please email a few photos to crew@iwearhyspecs.com and we'll get to the bottom of it and make it right.
3. Bent side shield. We're sorry about that. It should have been caught before it shipped, and we're passing your feedback to our QC team.

Monture un peu serrée, mais j'adore en général!
Had these glasses for 9 months so far and cannot complain about them. Comfortable. and no scratches on frame or lenses. They recently broke due to manufacturing defect and Hyspecs committed right away to send a new pair. Happy overall!
